Shaback Altruistic Incorporated & SD Mother Theresa, alongside Dr. Netreia D. Carroll and their dedicated team of volunteers, are thrilled to announce the upcoming Annual Christmas Extravaganza scheduled for December 24th, 2024, between 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The collective mission is to generously distribute 250,000 gifts, resources, and essential items to 14,000 individuals facing financial challenges across the diverse communities of San Diego, encompassing unincorporated regions, women, seniors, individuals with disabilities, and children. With a variety of donations including tablets, furniture, jewelry, groceries, toys, bikes, free dining certificates, household essentials, and more, the event aims to spread joy and support throughout the entire city.

 

As each resident enters 2024, our efforts are to restore hope, promote community change that boosts confidence, and alleviate common stresses by giving. The San Ysidro Health (formally Jacob Center) will be our host location. This annual historical event fosters relationships, connects businesses with consumers, and brings cultures together. Our organization believes that changing our community “Takes a village”. We are not afraid to face seemingly impossible challenges because anything is possible if we work together and try. This year, our goal is to encourage and educate everyone about "Stop the Genocides Living Well On Purpose ".

 

This year, our chosen theme of "Pups of Hope" seeks to highlight the power of bringing both canines and people together in a shared experience of joy and hope. By focusing on the connection between our furry friends and humans, we aim to create a positive and uplifting environment that celebrates the unique bond that exists between them. Through this theme, we hope to inspire a sense of unity, happiness, and companionship among all participants, fostering a spirit of optimism and camaraderie throughout our event.
